Camp 2292 Purchases Veterans Grave Markers

Purchased Confederate Headstone

Our camp will soon be placing this flat stone at the grave of a Justin, TX citizen who was a founding member of the Rober E. Lee UCV Camp in Ft Worth, TX. His grave is in the old IOOF Justin cemetery on Hwy156. Also Kyle Sims purchased two more grave markers that we will also be setting in the ground in 2018.

Camp Member and OCR Chapter Member Goes Home

After a fall our brother and friend who we love, Dan Hays was hospitalized and then sent to a rehabilitation center where on the morning of June 19th he lost Consciousness and they had to rush him back to the ER. He never recovered and on Wednesday June 20th we lost a great Southern soldier. Dan was a member of the Gano Camp and also a member of the Gano OCR chapter. He will be missed. Rest in peace Dan.

Camp 2292 Starts New ORC Chapter 64

Our camp has started the Mattie J. Gano Chapter 64 of the Order of Confederate Rose. Let us know if you or your significant other are interested in joining.

New Camp Meeting Location

New Meeting Location

Camp 2292 has a new meeting location. We now meet at Bone Daddy's House of Smoke BBQ  1720 William D Tate Ave, Grapevine, TX 76051. Come visit us any Third Tuesday of the month at 7pm. Get there early to fellowship and eat yummy BBQ.

Camp Members Help at the Ft Worth Stock Show Parade

Camp members participated by marching int he parade in period uniforms as well as walking the crowd handing out small battle flags to the spectators in protest of our battle flag not being allowed in the parade after the many years it was.

Camp Members Push for New Marker

Camp 2292 members worked with the Irving Historical Society and the Irving Archives to get a stolen marker replaced at a cemetery where two local Confederate veterans are buried.
